This is my favorite time of year. Fall in Alaska is such a short season, but when it comes, my thoughts, feelings, and emotions turn to a festive time of year. I love all the Holidays that Fall and Winter bring. Starting with Halloween, then Thanksgiving, and, of course, Christmas. When visiting my usual shopping locations (mostly Lowe’s, Home Depot, and the local hay and feed stores), you get early reminders that the holidays are coming, thanks to holiday decorations that begin to fill the stores.
I love the crispness in the cool Fall air. I love the colors Fall brings. I love the Holiday shows that only seem right to watch this time of year. I love it all. We have a large family that includes 26 grandchildren. As you can imagine, this time of year is also hectic for our family! It brings what I like to call “Delightful Chaos” into our lives that I wouldn’t trade for anything.
I hope this time of year brings you similar thoughts and feelings. We have had a pretty decent Summer and not a bad Fall, in my opinion. Personally, I am hoping we can get through the rest of October snow-free. If snow wants to come in November, I am fine with that ☃️. Having said all that, my words to you are: may this Fall season, and all that it brings, bring peace, happiness, and a blessed end to another year!

We recently published our how-to guide for website maintenace for those with WordPress websites. The best way to ensure your website is properly maintained and running at its very best is through one of our Service & Support plans. However, if you want to keep your website running smoothly, read our article.

We have recently updated our approach to partnerships with businesses and organizations for new website projects. Our new website design packages were built to remove sticker shock from professional website design services, but that isn’t all. Our new packages also include 2 years of hosting, Service, and Support.
We reviewed our late fee policy for unpaid invoices. Many of our clients are extremely timely with invoice payments, and we appreciate that very much! However, with more late payments coming in, we realized we needed to tweak our approach. Starting the next billing cycle in November, a 5% late fee will be assessed to unpaid invoices 15 days after the invoice date. All invoices are due net 15 days, so this will take place on day 16 for unpaid invoices. The late fee will compound every 15 days until the invoice amount is paid. Just to be clear, we are not in the business of collecting extra revenue from late fees. We are hoping this will incentivize more timely payments.
